What is SEO? You’ve found the answer here. Welcome to my blog. I will be discussing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and your online presence pretty often here. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) involves using web tools to help you ideal customers find you. Let me ask…how many successful SEO campaigns have you run? Are you familiar with the concept of SEO? Are you saying, “What is he talking about”? Whatever your status, I think you will get a good takeaway.

I am a realist. I realize you may say: “This content is great. Can I subscribe to your blog now”? Yes, you can. Just click the Follow button on the lower right hand corner and fill in your e-mail address. Others will bounce from this page and do nothing with this knowledge. They will say either 1) I do not understand that 100% or 2) this is too new. They will turn their backs on this. If that is your mindset…if you would turn your back on something because you do not understand it 100% or because it is too new, then you are in trouble.

Back when the Ford Model T came out, those who bought them first had a comparative advantage. They could go farther, get there faster and get more done. Others stood on the side of the road and they said “WHERE’S THE HORSE?! THERE’S NO HORSE. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THIS 100% IT IS TOO NEW! I WON’T USE IT. STUPID”.

I think that same mindset carries over to today’s tools. You can love them or you can hate them. Just remember…if your customers are using them, you should use them. If your ideal customers are using them, you have to use them too. You need to establish a comparative advantage to attract your ideal customers.
